Notice the lack of that first dropdown that should be left of the "No selected elements" one - which is also empty. Also, I'm notified that "The document could not be autosaved". The document stays "untitled" no matter what. Any tricks or things to try would be greatly appreciated. What could possibly make it unusable on my account? It's the same Mac! ![]() Also noticed on the other accounts, that their version of Script Editor had an AppleScript / Javascript dropdown at the top left. But my personal user won't let me use it. Restarted, didn't work.īUT! Script Editor works on the same iMac when logging in to another user, or even the Guest account. ![]() Tried to delete a file in my Library called (as per another google solution). And if I go to my Preferences, the "Default Language" is greyed out, so I can't even select AppleScript. Text stays black and white without regard to the usual formatting. I'm trying to do the most basic of apple scripts in MacOS Script Editor Version 2.11 (227). ![]() Previously Monterey 12.2 but updated the OS in hope Script Editor would magically heal itself. ![]()
